Planned Giving: Invest in the Future of Girl Scouting
Your estate and tax planning can benefit from a planned or deferred gift.
You can make a contribution to Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay with cash, stock, life insurance and life income gifts. Personal checks, Master Card, Discover Card, American Express and Visa are accepted.
Wills and Trusts
Creating a gift through a will or trust is the simplest and largest single source for endowing Girl Scouting. Almost everyone needs a will and by naming Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council, Inc. as a beneficiary you can make sure tomorrow’s girls will Grow Strong in Girl Scouting.
If you already have a will, you may still add Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council, Inc. as a beneficiary by creating a codicil or addition to it. There is no need to change the entire will.
We would like to know when you have remembered the council in your will so we may thank you. Please contact Audrey Boys, Sr. Vice President Council Advancement at (302) 778-0295 or acboys@cbgsc.org
Planned Gifts
Each type of planned gift comes with its own complexities and these are best negotiated with your own attorney, accountant or professional advisor. To speak with someone at Chesapeake Bay Council about a planned gift, please contact Audrey Boys at (302) 778-0295 or acboys@cbgsc.org
