This year, your family can support our new Northern Resource Center. Our current building is on land leased from the University of Delaware. They are not renewing the lease, but will purchase our 25 year old building when the lease expires in December. The new building is being built on a beautiful seven acre wooded lot in greater Newark. It will include a multi-purpose room, small meeting rooms, a retail shop, offices, and exhibit area. The woods and stream will be used for on-site outdoor education.

Please download this “Build the Beacon” form. This will give you information about the engraved bricks that will be part of the permanent pathway to the Northern Resource Center. This is a great opportunity to honor a girl, troop leader, life-time member, business, community group, or that special Girl Scout in your life.  With your support, Girl Scouts can “Build the Beacon” that will serve girls and volunteers throughout the entire Delmarva Peninsula.
