SEPTEMBER

Beach Clean-Up at the Seashore! – Indian River Life-Saving Station at Delaware Seashore State Park
Girl Scout Daisies (Grades K-1)

Earn your “A Better Beach for Everyone” badge by coming to the Delaware Seashore State Park and learning the importance of keeping our beaches clean. Girls will test out their acting skills and take part in a play of “Rosie’s Story.” The troop will participate in a beach clean-up followed by a picnic lunch in the courtyard.
WHEN: September 20, 2014, 10 a.m. - Noon
WHERE: Indian River Life-Saving Station at Delaware Seashore State Park, 25039 Coastal Highway, Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
COST: $10 per girl, includes fun patch.
NOTE: One adult per child will be expected to stay for duration of program. A bag lunch needs to be packed. Min 8/Max 20.

 

The World Around You – Iron Hill Museum
Girl Scout Daisies (Grades K-1)

Enhance your Between Earth and Sky journey learning by visiting our natural history museum to learn about the world around you.
Learn about plants, take a walk, and even learn about the history surrounding Iron Hill.
WHEN: September 27, 2014, 1 p.m. – 3 p.m.
WHERE: Iron Hill Museum, 1355 Old Baltimore Pike, Newark, DE 19702
COST: $10 per girl, includes fun patch.
NOTE: Free admission for two leaders
chaperones per program. Additional museum visitors are $2 each. Min 10/Max 15.
